Google webmaster tools can allow you to control the crawling rate (or time separating each crawl) I believe.

nice posting dear,google crawler check the pages on daily basis,after 34 hours the crawler update the site informaion.

Google crawl caching proxy was deployed with Bigdaddy, but it was working so smoothly that I didn’t know it was live. That should tell you that this isn’t some sort of webspam cloak-check; the goal here is to reduce crawl bandwidth.
